Update 3.24.2008: We have decided to take down the video. It was causing too much laughter, and we don’t want to cause anyone to die laughing. I’ve also removed some of the clues that would make it easy for someone to track down using Google.

On June 17, 2007, Bernie and I went to see a local band. Everyone was given a card upon entering the theater. If you wanted to have a question answered, you wrote your question on the card and placed it in a box near the stage before the show started. Questions were selected randomly, and then the person who submitted the question would be called on stage to have the question answered. The answer was hidden in a song, which the guest would select by spinning a wheel.

Oh, and guess who was called up to have her question answered! And she was the first one of the night, too!

Yes, it has been a long time. It feels even longer, but here we are, several months later. Our niece, Erin, has become the darling of the family, and her brother Darragh is becoming a strapping young man. Fortunately for me, my first time meeting Erin went well. Apparently she likes me. I think it’s the belly.

Here are a few snapshots from our trip in August. For some reason, not everyone had their photo taken, but there are lots of photos of Erin, who isn’t old enough to run from the camera yet.

Meet Erin Mary, our lovely niece, born on February 12th. Hooray!
